Census Hokeyness
Well, this certainly seems hokey. pgdudda pointed out these census results that edited 'same-sex spouse' answers to 'unmarried partner'. Which is, um, wrong!

Wiscon 35 - The Gathering Report
At The Gathering there was a papercrafts table. Part of what you could do there is make 'Use Your Mic/Show Your Lips' paddles/fans for audience members to use at the panels. You could also decorate fancy wands for people who aren't able to stand to hold up whenever directed to 'please stand', or just to wave about because they were awesome ( Read more... ) -

My 2-month long bookfast starts tomorrow. I can read books. I'd better read books! But I can't borrow any from the library or download any unless I had a pre-existing hold on it, or if it's for Triple Take. And I can't buy any! Can I quit my day job?
I'm beginning to think one day off work isn't enough! More con reports to write. Lots more. Still have kitchen cupboards to clean out. Still haven't brought up my laundry from the basement since Wednesday. And lots of stuff to read!! Oh yea, and I would also like some more sleep ( Read more... ) -
