Lanie's first day of school

Pam was nice enough to get up and take pictures of Lanie's first day of school.

This is the best one because it looks so much like HER - the perfect expression on her face.

She is just adorable and has gotten SO big!!! OMG!!

I know, right? I look at the pictures of her from kindergarten and am overwhelmed with how tall and how thin she looks - makes her look so much older.

I really don't see it - besides her hair. I'm flattered, don't get me wrong. I think she's gorgeous. But I don't think she looks much like me at all. I think she looks more like Betsy.

I just love school uniforms! I don't think there is anything as cute as a bunch of little kids in uniform.

Well, barring school attendance she did request more pictures of Lanie. I used your tags and we looked at her pictures for a while. Delia is quite taken with her.

She actually has a small bald spot underneath - not terribly visible and in any case hidden by the headband. We both got small mild cases of ringworm from Fiyero. I was so pleased to adopt a kitty that was already fixed and had shots. Oh, well.

But even so, I don't think her hair is actually thicker. I think the curling just helps it look fluffier. It would be nice if it was thicker though!
