Son of a bitch, this has been a really fucked up day.  Yesterday a friend of mine came by with her daughter, saying she'd finally left her a$$hole boyfriend.  Now, I've known my friend Ty since middle school.  She had her daughter, Brooke, young (age 14), and Brooke is almost 18 now.  (That's probably why I kind of like teenagers; the good ones

ARG! That drives me insane. They need to get away from that insane fucker ASAP. I know it must be tough for you too, being in a position where you can't help the people you really want to help. But letting Brooke know she has a place to go to where she can be safe is great.
