Struggling back from Wizard Land

I'm an addict.  One of those pathetic addicts.  I've been doing , well, not much but playing Wizard 101 for weeks now.  Last week was particulary bad because I was in a funk and the game wasn't even fun anymore.  I'm not even talking a gloriously bad and brightly technicolor disco funk you can dance badly to, either.  No, I'm talking about crying

Funny that you are talking about geeks, I just found this random book in some boxes I was cleaning out and I totally intend to read it, it sounds awesome. "American Nerd:The Story of my People" by Benjamin Nugent. It's a history of geeks and... well here's the google books link. Check it out, it might not be the cure to your funk, but it seems like it could be an amusing read. (Bear in mind , I have yet to read this myself. I didn't even know I owned it! LOL)
