I've known this guy, Coxy, for almost 10 years.  We grew up together and have a history (we've been through a lot).  We lost contact for a little while, but recently started hanging and talking again.  Now he is living with his girlfriend and what is assumed to be his baby boy.  Here's the situation.  All of a sudden, (after I met his girlfriend),

thats really dumb. he shouldn't listen to her. i'd never tell josh who he could and couldn't hang out unless he cheated or something.

sweetie, she sounds very insecure. a very young person who has a baby and is not married to the baby's father would logically have a little insecurity going on, but if she cares about him she should trust him to hang out with you.

she sounds like a controlling bitch. it's not your fault; maybe one day he'll realize her manipulative ways and dump her. she's probably jealous/verrry insecure.
