I found out about the trip from England that my great great grandparents made. The stories were awful and amazing at the same time. I know I wouldn't have survived the trip given the circumstances. Think lowest class on a boat possible then multiply the situation by 10. My great great grandma was pregnant, alone, and had 3 little kids (they were like less than a year old to three at the time ( ... )

That's fascinating about your relatives.. do you write fiction too, or only nonfiction? If you write fiction that would be really interesting premise and it would mean more to you, since you're connected...

Hills like White Elephants was good.

I haven't read any of the rest of his work yet.
