question for the masses

how much of a role should age play in pursuing a relationship [of any kind.. including friends/dating/ect...] with someone?

i need some advice regarding that question.. please leave your input and reasoning.

I think it depends on the specific relationship and the involved parties. Some 16 year olds could date 40 year olds and they'd be perfect for each other mentalities and otherwise.. and other 20 year olds, both the exact same age could be terrible for each other because of where they're at.

interesting. i'm stuck in a bit of a dilemma and i don't know what to do. i was wondering about what the general consensus was about this matter. hrmmm....

d. none of the above.

I met this guy at a going away party for a mutual friend.. and we clicked.. in a way. I drove him home and when I drove him home, we continued talking and made plans to hang out. Our plans didn't work out.. but we talked on the phone once or twice. So then I found out how old he was. And it became a slight dilemma. He's quite a bit older than me (he's not over 30). It's just weird to me.
