I am really, really tired of fake people. I'm tired of ugly kids that all have the same hair cut, don't eat meat, and call each other derogatory racial names. I'm tired of stupid boys who smoke and wear Morrissey shirts. I'm tired of "artists" and "writers" who create a bunch of meaningless shit and pretend it has some sort of symbolic significance

Not to be an instigator, but perhaps this "meaningless shit" that people create is symbolic, if only for the person that created it. I make things all the time that people might consider crap, but I'm still proud of it and it holds signifigance to me. Art isn't about pleasing everyone.

If you're referring to pretentious types who go about their art like everyone must love it or they're stupid, then I can feel you on that. But anyone who creates something is an artist.

Anything that people create solely for themselves is awesome. I'm talking about those people that paint a freaking dot on a canvas and say it shows man's struggle in the universe. Definitely those pretentious types that think they are amazing and tell you it every chance possible. I make crappy art and words and music all the time and it's fun and I love it, but I could care less if other people do. Does that makes sense? I don't know.

Um, yeah, it does, actually. I've known too many of "those" types. I think people who are overly pretentious lack confidence. But so do I, so I don't know what that means.

Yeah, I do too. I guess I just have low self-esteem instead of an over-inflated ego. I kind of like it that way. It keeps things more interesting.
