hey, i just read your post in "pregnant" and im not a member so i cant reply... hopefully this gets you by email.

i just wanted to suggest that your MIL threw the shower after you have the baby... then you would know what you need, plus you will have the best "centerpiece" to pass around and show off. by then you will hopefully feel up to seeing people, and they will be gift-giving specifically to the little one. it just seems more realistic and a lot more enjoyable.

Based on your entries in trainupachild and babywise, you will not be successful breastfeeding your baby. You cannot approach breastfeeding in that damaging way and have any success. Because you will not succeed at breastfeeding, you will be able to get pregnant again as soon as you want to, which sounds like what you want to do. Breastfeeding is natural child spacing. Mothers who breastfeed with no supplements for 6 months (like the American Academy of Pediatrics reccommends) usually do not get their period or regain their fertility for a long time, often until their baby is weaned.
Jesus would want you to love and respect your baby, not "train" it following some sicko's parenting methods. Please consider putting your own issues aside, and parenting your baby in the natural way that the Lord intended you to. Do you think Noah's wife scheduled her baby's feeds, or spanked them as infants and toddlers? Doubtful. You won't be able to un-do the damage you create by raising your child like that.
