I hope you can get hold of books and 5 and 6, although they are tough books to get through, lots of really awful stuff happens in them. They got a little tiring for me, but I'll still read anything about Jamie and Claire, no matter what.
I bet you talk along with the performers when in the car! :)
I've read them all - thanks to your recommendation, Julie - but only once and I've forgotten a lot, but I will never forget how much I've enjoyed reading them. I started rather late, so I could read them all in a row. It was a great couple of months. :)
I know, I remember you read through them so quickly! You should re-read them when you get a chance, s-l-o-w-l-y and really savor them. The 2nd time around was the best for me - like reading them in Technicolor!
No, I don't talk along with them, but I do love the Scottish burrs, gets me so in the mood! Davina Porter does all the voices so well, you forget she's a woman when she's doing the men's voices!
I know. I accidentally bought the abridged DOA before the unabridged was available--and not only is the abridgment itself horrible, but the narrator is not fit to tie Davina's shoes.
I especially like her Fergus and Ian in this one. Bree not so much.
Thank you so much for your kind words about my reviews Julie. I am always a little scared to write them... writing is not one of my favorite things to do. It is always nice to hear that they don't sound as stupid as I think they do. lol I am going to add you to my list of blogs to watch. I just love yours! (however this is the first post that I have read)
Heather, thanks I only just saw this, thanks for adding me. I have another Book Blog that would be better to use though, since this is really my personal blog, and I don't post all my reviews here, most of the posts are locked here as well.
I didn't know how to reach you, so I sent you a message through Paperback Swap (and added you as well there) when you review a book that sounds like something I'd want, I know where I can go to get it!)

LOL! I bet you're right, but I shouldn't buy anymore new books then for a while... There are still so many on bedside table waiting to be read!
