It is a bit heavy but it exactly addressed some things we were talking about, and it helps me to remember to write what I want to write, to say what I want to say, not to be swayed by what I think an editor or an agent wants to hear, what would be highly commercial or marketable. Be true to yourself and the story you wanted to share. Don't be ashamed of it, trust in the authenticity of it... Blah, blah, blah, hard to convey in a short post, and so much more I could say about it, but it really is a great essay if you can take the time to wade through it and reread parts until you understand them (at least I had to).

Oh, yes. I bookmarked it because I definitely need to go through it again and break it down more.

It seems to mirror exactly what you have told me before, albeit a little more fancy-like. :-)
