Enjoying the HP Mania even though I do not enjoy HP

I am not into the whole Harry Potter thing because I just don't enjoy stories with little talking animals and creatures and ghosts. I read only the first part of Book I before giving up and telling my daughter she could finish it herself. I have seen a few of the movies and I did enjoy two of those though (slept through the last half of the 4th

Yeah, it's funny, but right after I posted what I did about Christmas, Alex said, "I haven't been this excited about anything in a long time. I feel like a little kid the night before Christmas!" She said she and her friends are all hibernating at home tomorrow because they are afraid that if they are out about town, they will hear rumors started by the person(s) who somehow read the story early and then it will all be spoiled for them. I'm glad they have such an innocent pleasure/thrill! Have a good time at B&N!
