Kulick day!

I had my house back for about 12 hours.  This morning, I turned on the lights to eat my cereal and it was my pleasure.  Since the Kulicks won't  be sleeping in the living room, I don't think I'll mind their visit at all.

How can you live for a year and a half in Seattle and not have a proper rain jacket, you ask?  Quite stupidly, I'd say.  But

When I was 9, I invented an umbrella that had a roll-down clear plastic protector dealie. If it was rainy and windy, you had added protection from the shower curtain that surrounded you. I called it the Umbrella 2000. Shall I send you the prototype? Assuming of course, I can find it?
