My boyfriend and I went to one those used car "dealership" type things to see about getting a new car. Since he doesn't make a whole heck-ton of money, I was nice and co-signed on the loan for him

You're just the co-signer, right? If they marked you down as the primary, I don't think you should've signed that. o_O

We're going to try on Monday, but I don't know what'll happen.

Espcially with things like the hyphenated name you are quickly heading down the road to common law marriage in most states. Have you signed the contract yet? If not I would strongly reccomend against doing so.
