I've never seen White Collar- though the commercials always reminded me of SotT, so I feel fondly for it anyway- but this was absolutely wonderful. Just perfect. *grin*

Thankyou! :) I do recommend WC ever so much. Not as good as SotT, but I like to think the two can coexist in the same world, and Neal makes for such an interesting character.

Okay, I'm going to be the ass who starts with 'Well, I was skeptical," because I was. Very. Crossovers in general make me wary and these are two of my favorite source canons. However, the skepticism was clearly stupid because you've got this nailed. The professional respect, the sizing up of each other between the agents and their beloved thieves, those are spot-on for what I'd imagine happening if the worlds collided. The very best part is definitely Peter's pride in the ankle monitor and Simon clearly considering it. Of course, any attempt to use it would result in Jeremy gassing him again, but I'm sure the idea of it appeals to him greatly. This was a fun read and I'd be interested to see where you took it next.

:) Your initial skepticism is exactly why I kept this short. I don't know if I could actually expand this much more and make it into a fic because that requires much more writing and careful thought. These characters are difficult to write, and my love for both series means that if I were to write them, I would want them to be real. But thankyou for your wonderful comment, I just adore the idea of Peter and Simon sizing each other up whilst Neal and Jeremy decide to join forces whilst their agents are distracted.
