i don't get why i can't play dodgeball lots of other girls would like to play as well. like paula. i promise i don't throw like a girl. i seriously don't. i hate girls who are afraid of the ball. i would def. like to be on your team. i know i am a big target but i am flexible and a little on the agility side b/c i am a dancer. one last thing are you a sexist? b/c then i would have to bite off a certain part of you that would hurt... very much... a lot. i think you know what i am talking about. If i did that would it make you less of a man? aske urself that. (ok i am rambling ok stop) sorry

No I am not sexist and yes I know what you are talking about. Girls weren't allowed because: a) the gym door wasn't unlocked on either side to the girl's locker room; b) girls typcailly don't like dodgeball/ aren't good at it; c) Potter and Bob are ridiculous at dodgeball and bring the pain to everybody.

So you sbhould thank me for looking out for you. :) And that we were gonna have decided teams (my team of 6 vs whoever showed up to play us) but they wanted to do even numbers so that didn't work (made the teams WAY unfair instead of even).

i guess i should thank you. thank you. sorry for lashing out at you. but i am tough and i can handle it. i know u don't mean to be that way its just the way it works out. if you don't want to include girls its none of my business. but don't tell me i can't do it b/c i am a girl. it hurts my selfesteem.(hey its not like i chose to be a girl) do u like being a guy at times?

Congrats on the Offices!!! I have two suggestions.

For the NHS fundraiser: Make sure everyone knows how much they have to participate to be able to cover their own individual costs (tassles) and how much they will have to pay if they don't bother to do anything. Most people do not like unpleasant surprises. Also make sure the money raised by those who participate just under the threshold does not go to pay for the dues of lazy people who sell nothing. This is stupid and not fair.

For Tri-M: Do a fundraiser that involves music b/c it is a music honor society. (This does not mean charging admission to the Jazz band concert. That's just cheap and aslo kinda lazy.) Oh and try to get meetings scheduled on days other than Jazz band for obvious reasons.

People seem to listen to you so it shouldn't be too hard to instill some logic here and there. Things will probably go over pretty well. Hopefully. Congrats again.

Haha. Thanks. I'll tell Bridget to tell them next year about that fundraising thing. Music-related fundraisers are good, but the options are VERY limited there. People don't like paying money for stuff that doesn't involve food or violence. Hence, donut sales, dodgeball, and ping pong. We'll see what next year holds.

Perhaps you could play music in the background. Like have somone at least bring a radio or something.

LOL. You know I tried to pust a four-square tournament through in NHS and that just never worked too well. For turning ideas into action, always talk to Miss Hoyt Kathleen_Hoyt@gateschili.monroe.edu .

And I personally love dodgeball, but I know that guys play much rougher and than we do, and even if she could keep up, she would still interfere with your game b/c of the public chastisment received if you hurt her. Maybe Em and I can start a chick tourny on the same day you guys play lol.

Four-square tournament would've been awesome! And co-ed dodgeball is just not a good idea for the reasons mentioned. Separate tournies would be interesting, but idk if there'd be enough support for it. Eh. That's 3 months away. :)

Well have lots of fun. I hope your class can do more than we did. But you have a bunch of talented people, so you should be set. Keep me informed on the NHS, Tri-M, etc events.

So...Potter's dodgeball solution is still existent, correct?

If so, Hilsdorf, Jason, Gibbs and the others will rue the day they asked for a rematch!

Idk. He said he can only bring a few geusts at a time, which might hurt us a little. And he said that the courts seem smaller and smaller every time he's in them. Which means REAL intense dodgeball. SO I doubt it.
