Asparagus is in!

I had to dig the trenches longer, as we had more crowns then we had trench space. Then 3 inch layer of manure, 3 inches of humus, crowns, 3 more inches of humus and then good organic soil. I hurt in places I didn't know I had, but its DONE! Yeah!!!!!!!!!

Go for it! Its one of the best all around plants IMO, not only do you get to eat it every Spring, but its amazingly beautiful and once established, it pretty much carefree for 20+ years :)
