Blueberries :)

I got two flats of blueberries for $4.99 a flat!!!!! Blueberry pie filling being made today :) I will probably go back tomorrow for another flat to do blueberry jelly and blueberry cordial. Then of course one more for freezing. I DOOOO love blueberries when they are in season :)

I can't tell you how much I really wish we could. I'm so tired of the crap from my family. Especially my grandmother. Now I know she is dying, but she acts like it is all Miranda and my fault and that she'd be just fine if we weren't around because we are stressing her and compromising her immune system. Fun fun fun

That said can you imagine the grief I'd get if I took what little I get from unemployment and instead of paying bills I took off across country?

Have you ever tried dehydrating them ? One year we were so overrun with them I wound up dehydrating a couple of batches. Really good additions to baked goods and oatmeal !

I dehydrated about four quarts last year, still have about half of that left, but will definitely be dehydrating them again this year.
