Well, yeah, Adam IS a top. ;) I got it out of the way first tho. And of course fairies need a day job, fabulous clothesdon't come cheap. XD And besides, he enjoys performing.

The Adam characterization may be mostly fanon, but I don't think it's that far off from how he is in real life. XD He's smart and knows how to work it.
