I just wanted to write a bit about the episode last night. I really liked the concept, "We Were Born This Way, Let's Accept It," especially since it meant that Kurt got to come back to McKinley. :) My only problem (which is why I'm really writing this) is what they did to Quinn's past. I understand why the writers did that, because she's the most ( Read more... )

I was like what the hell! when the Lucy thing came out.
I don't know if I planned on ignoring this and continue with what I thought of Quinn before Lucy.

Exactly, I had the same reaction. Actually it was more like, "Ohmygod! Hahahaha!" (because of how shocking the picture was) then it went to "wait..." Yeah, I have no idea how to take this. Does this change everything that I've ever thought of Quinn, or not? Even my teacher who watches and loves Glee as well (also my favorite teacher, not just because of that) said that she thought the revelation of Lucy was "unnecessary, I didn't need that."

The whole Lucy thing was totally unnecessary, but I don't think it should change your perception of Quinn, because of what the writers of glee wrote. That is awesome that your teacher watches Glee :D

Actually, two out of my four teachers watch Glee (we have a weird system) and they're just as into it as the people in my class! XD And thanks so much for the comments and reassurance. It's helped a lot. :)

I understand your strong reaction, but I for one am optimistic it'll make more sense eventually. I know that's an unpopular opinion right now, especially amongs faberry shippers.

Yeah, it is hard since I like Faberry stories and Quinn in general (she's my second favorite character, Rachel is first). But I'm a pessimistic person, or so I've been told, so I don't really see how this will turn out for the good. At best I think this will just be useless information the writers of the show threw in there because they're weird.
I must be in a bad mood or something, I'm sorry! :P
