I had my follow up appointment today to check on my blood pressure. It was kind of a chaotic mess from the word go. I arrived at the birth center to find out that my midwife had had to rush off to collect a sick kid from summer school. No biggie, her student midwife was there, and I like her a lot. I'm very glad that your swelling has gone (almost) away. I've been extremely swollen for the past month, and I know how miserable it can make you feel. So thumbs up for that!

Are you excited to be to the weekly visits? I think it's kind of bittersweet, exciting on one hand, but I get tired of spending an hour every week waiting on my stinkin' doctor!

I'm kind of excited about going to weekly visits now, except that it wasn't really supposed to happen quite this early. It does sort of put things in perspective though, reminds me that this little one will be here very very soon. That makes me happy. :)

Sorry about the blood pressure but at least the bed rest was mostly lifted.

Yep, that is a plus. Now I can do the grocery shopping instead of entrusting that task to my husband who's all about convenience food. LOL.

Lots and lots of rest, almost there. My doc said "for whatever reason if you do go into labor they do not stop it after 35 weeks" so literally everyday now!!! Enjoy your nap! :o)
