Yay congrats. Thanks for posting your story. I honestly didn't realize that you could feel the pain through the epidural. So it's good to know...

you can't feel a majority of the pain through the epidural. basically most of my labor, i was pain free. the nurse said it was good i could feel the contractions at the end, it made it easier to know when i was ready. plus, i think my contractions were a lot harder toward the end because they gave me a bit of pitocin to get them more regular. if you're thinking you want the epidural, i still highly recommend it :)
