Y'ALL.

Benedict is getting his own tag.

I was just browsing his imdb page to fatten up my Netflix queue when I realized HE WAS WILLIAM PITT IN AMAZING GRACE.

Have you seen Amazing Grace? You should. It is one of my favorites. WARNING: the trailer music is exceedingly corny. Here, can you spot the 'Batch?

I know! And it's so very nerdy. I love it.

Hee, I rewatched it when I realized he was Pitt. (I don't think I even finished it the first time, I think it's boring. *ducks*.) I do love their friendship in it.

BORING? Blasphemy. Everyone should love movies about decades-long legislative struggles uphill both ways in the snow against all odds and some very big dicks in wigs.

oh, that man!

I almost fell over when I saw that he had been in Amazing Grace (which I loved--it's as close to somebody making my dissertation into a movie as I'm ever going to get--)

Did you know you can download a BBC Radio program he did on the life of Casanova? BC reading 18thC sex scenes FTW

(I know you don't read RPF, but there might be some gen h/c Cumber!fic over at my lj. If you were curious ;))

Really? What was your dissertation about?

I will look into this Casanova. For the arts, you understand. (And maybe the RPF as well, but no promises.)

About half of it was about the British antislavery movement--so it was a huge kick to see all those people portrayed by (good-looking) actors!

Casanova for the arts *nods* (he's in full-on jaguar-inside-a-cello mode, tho'. just saying.)

And please! Don't worry about the RPF--it was a strange little venture, on my part.
