wanted to reduce my dependency on the Vibrance toolGOOD FOR YOU. ♥ The less tutorials I see using vibrance will mean more happy days for me as a 7.0 user, haha! Also I think it'll give you a better grasp of other tools if you have to go the longer, more scenic route to get vibrant colors. Did you discover any new techniques on your way or do you think you'll just go back to using vibrance again ( ... )

I've been experimenting even more with Colour Balance layers, and textures… and Levels, and Curves! Soft light has been very helpful :D I don't think I'll be going back to using lots of vibrance… maybe one at the most? That will be my challenge for the rest of the year, I think.

I'M GLAD YOU APPROVE <3

I've seen Antrokasdemo and Yoghurt being used, and they're so beautiful! I didn't dare to use it until this round gave me a reason to. Yoghurt is a fitting Aladdin font, methinks! ;D

Thank you! I'm learning to ~follow the light~ when it comes to icons :)

:O tbh I didn't even realise that there were so many contrasts, apart from 6, 8, and 10. I might want to explore that technique further. The nerd in me is loving it :3

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS COMMENT <333333

I really like the colors in this set! They are vibrant, without being overpowering, and your compositions are really pretty :)

Favs: 4, 5, 11 and 15 :D

Nothing wrong with bright colors but I applaud you trying not to use vibrance (I am addicted!). I really like what you did with the text. It shows that you tried to integrate it into the images.

I've never done animation as I am not a fan but expect it can be a huge challenge.

Overall, I think you succeeded quite well with your challenge although I wouldn't call any of these muted or "pastel" but you are getting close. If you like vibrant colors like me, what is muted to us is bright to someone else. All a matter of degree.

I am such a stan for colours, so it was quite a bit of a challenge XD Thank you for the concrit - I just can't seem to grasp how to make an icon muted/pastel. Newfound admiration to all those makers who can do that, and make their icons superbly pretty and creative!

Wow, I love this perspective! #17 is probably me at my most muted XD
