I've heard so many times in response to certain things, "Just let go."
How the hell is this done?
I think it's supposed to be much more obvious than this. I just don't find that easy to conceptualize at all. There are so many things that I'd like to just "let go" of, but I really don't know how to do that.
Thoughts?

No such thing, theres only burying thoughts really deep and not turning back, but you never forget love when its there.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
More so, why would you want to let go, sure it hurts now, but in the long run its those feelings that make us who we are. Don't turn your back on it, look it in the face and stare it down, Get knocked down by it so when you get back up you can love again.
When all is said and done it was John Lennon who had it right...
...all you need is love.

Me? I'm a fighter. If there's something I want (I mean really want, because there are always degrees) I'll fight for it beyond the point of reason. I'm in one such battle right now. But with all the duress I am redeemed by the struggle itself. "When the fall is all there is, it matters a great deal." But now I'm on a tangent, I think.
There always comes a point, of course when the fight is over, whether you're ready for it to be or not. However, "Just let go" would be simple avoidance if it were possible. Rather, you should strip those three words down to one: "Accept."
Just my thoughts.
