It's probably time I updated properly
So what's going on with me?
1) College -
Very, very tough this year. There's so much work to do - reports, self-directed learning reports (which is ridiculous btw), projects (group projects aren't fun). Plus the dynamic in my group of friends is just different this year. Like one of my friends wasn't supposed to come back to college, because there was a problem with her results, but she is back and she's just weird this year. I don't know is she depressed or something but it's weird. And me and another friend met up a lot over the summer and when we mention it she gets pissy. And it's not like we didn't include her. I used to ring her over the summer but she never wanted to get together. And then one day we were going into town to go for lunch and go shopping (curse you Benefit!) and we invited her and she said no BUT she kept giving us dirty looks. Also I've branched out and the whole class hangs out together more or less but she's weird about it.
It's kind of similar to my last year of secondary school in the way that I'm so sick of that type of bitchy bullshit.
2) NaNoWriMo - I signed up and I have an idea for a story but I don't know if I'll have the time.
3) Work - Meh, the same as always except I'm working one extra day this year.
4) TV -
Friday Night Lights - Okay I've been known to become obsessed with television programmes but holy shit I am in love with the show. It's just the best show this season. I originally only watched it because I love the film but it is so good. The characters, the music, the incredibly depressing setting of the town that puts so much pressure on their high-school football players. Watch this show - you will not be disappointed. And if NBC cancels this before they cancel Studio 60 I will so pissed (sorry newfangled_sock)
Lost - Meh at this stage I'm only watching it in case SOMETHING happens.
The Wire - I love it so much. Prez, a character I was always irritated by, is turning out so good.
One Tree Hill - It's okay this year. There are some good storylines - except Peyton's brother creepy...
Veronica Mars - I'm not sure. I still like it but it's not as good as Seasons 1 or 2. And I'm more interested in Keith's storylines than Veronica's.
Prison Break - I'm loving it. It's so wonderfully unrealistic but that's what makes it fun.
Studio 60 - I really, really wanted to like this but I can't get into it. I mean after watching one episode of The West Wing ("Enemies") I was hooked but this I'm not. Maybe it's because I just I'm so used to Matthew Perry as Chandler and Bradley Whitford as Josh. Maybe it'll take time.
The Colbert Report - I know this isn't a "season" type show but seriously dude - strength to strength.
Supernatural - DUDE, it's rocking so hard this year - the angst, the music - awesome
