I can't imagine life after college. I have been living in a setting in which I am constantly surrounded by people my age literally since I can remember. I imagine the real world to be incredibly lonely.

You know what I'd really like to do? Just throw away most of what I own, and pack up some camping equipment, my camera and a laptop, along with a few solar panels, throw it all on the back of my bike and just work my way around the world. Seeking out and documenting the various wonders of the world wherever I find them. Sort of a modern-day Voyage of the Beagle. I think about that more and more every day.

Ugh, that would be amazing. I really don't want to see myself living some boring, conventional life in the future, I want to be doing something awesome and different like this.

Keep in mind that going to university in Philadelphia is pretty amazing :)

haha I wish! Penn State is actually in the middle of Pennsylvania, and the nearest cities are 3 hours away. It's a huge place though, compared to where I grew up.

You find people your own age, I suppose.
Or at least people with the same goals as you.

This is probably true. It just seems like such a bizarre world once you're done with school; school really is the only thing I've ever known!

I miss you, btw.
