Jun 14, 2006 22:40

I promised a couple people that I'd tell them when I figured it out, so here you go!

Thanks for making things even easier, camomiletea. =D

Hmmmm... The only thing I can think of is that you may have multiple
tags within your Page::print_entry()... I had a similar problem with my test journal (the code for which is supplied above but I just modified it to take that 2nd one out). Let me know if that helps. :)

It seems that this was a hotly contested issue in the early days of opal_help so no one was willing to post how to do this. So I figured 'what the heck, it's not like someone's going to copy that person from 2 years ago, they're journal has probably changed anyway' and went with it. Glad I could help. =D

Oh, someone did it already? (well duh, but I mean...well I don't want to copy.)

I knew some people did..LOL. I thought I was being all original.

Oh well, I will get there.

Just looking at some of the tings people on opal_help have done with their journals gives me hope!

You're layout is very unique. You took the template and customized it a lot more than most people do. You've spent a lot of time on it and it shows. =)

The one thing I've learned while coding is that many people have the same ideas. But the beauty of S2 is that there's usually multiple ways of going about it so they all look a little different. And as long as people don't copy color-schemes, words, or whatnot I have no problem telling them how I did things.

I gain inspiration from people on opal_help and the_lj_reboot. They usually are amazing. I can code but I'm not nearly creative enough to do some of the design aspects of it. But I'm getting better. And there's always hope! =D
