Well, there is the postmile mark. Don't know NV's county codes, but it looks like along NV 487.

Correct. The WP stands for "White Pine." (The opposing Utah county is Millard, which I understand is one of the poorest in the state.)

I didn't see any Utah postmiles at all during our trip, though I did see mileposts.

That's on Nevada 487/Utah 21, approximately 38.949°N, 114.049°W.

Yep. One of four different places we crossed the NV/UT border. (The others were at I-80, at UT-58/Wendover Blvd., and at US-50.)
