Weekend before Lunar New Year

I wonder if that's why there's a traffic jam right now downstairs along Bukit Timah Road. People driving up to Malaysia? Or maybe the road has been reduced to one lane for work on the MRT line. Lots of slow moving traffic just after office hours, but rarely at this time ( Read more... )

awwwww :( traffic jams and car queues are horrible.
and i'm so avoiding the chinese restaurants this coming week + next weekend. and... the chinese shops are probably closed huh. :/

my bro's gonna be in NS in feb... er... between the 7th and 14th. don't rmb. so yar. family (mum, dad and bro) gonna be going to s'pore pretty soon...

Wah! Edinburgh also have jams because of CNY! Did you put up any decorations? Maybe some pics or a write up in your LJ or FB. :)

One thing about going in now is that it's cooler than middle of the year. Still quite miserable of cos.

Am flying to Melbourne on the 14th. D is enrolling in RMIT.

oooh grats to D (: have fun in aussie i'd say yay for warm weather, then again, s'pore is always warm/hot x)

nah... no jams in edb (but they're horrible in general). just a possibility of big flocks of chinese population going to chi restaurants..... D: (i'm surprised at how many chinese there are in edb who aren't students. almost always walking by some old ladies talking in canto on weekends)

no deco la :/ tacks and pins aren't really "allowed" :/ so too lazy to put them up then take them down just before the manager comes in to check rooms ^^"
