I think I've finally escaped that place. But it's only to come back here. I guess something wants me here for some reason.

I wonder if Nami's crew is around. Maybe I could join them after all. I was pretty much a modern-day pirate once, wasn't I?

Not really. I was a pretty lawless kind of guy for half my life, I lived kind of like a mercenary. My master even had an island fortress.

Well...that's the way it was. My master's dead now and I'm cut loose with no one to rely on. Except for a few people here who've been nice to me.
