Ryutaro - Duet 4/2011
I went to my grandpa's house in Kanazawa recently. I suddenly made up my mind and thought "I want to go there" so I rode the shinkansen (bullet train) on my own. I would also go by plane but this time I thought that I would be troubled if there was a flight cancellation because of the snow so I decided to take the shinkansen instead. Kanazawa is a place that is just right for sightseeing in the winter. Kenrokuen during the snow is also really pretty and the Kanazawa Castle is also nice! I took a lot of souvenir pictures with my grandpa and grandma! The food's also delicious! The shrimp, amberjack, and tuna were also the best. But the most fun part was talking to the adults who have loved me since a long time ago. My grandpa, grandma, my relative, the lady neighbor, the usual uncle at the store, and the taxi driver that my family has had dealings with for over 10 years. I talked with a lot of people. Everyone broke out like "that Ryutaro is going to be a high school student already. He's gotten bigger." Sooner or later they'll start saying "I want to drink sake with you soon~ I'm looking forward to it" (laughs) I'm really comfortable there so I want to live in Kanazawa forever.
Nowadays, I've been into preserved flowers. When I talk about it, I get told "how surprising" a lot though (laughs). My friend's mom makes them as a hobby and they're really cute. I asked for them saying "how pretty~ can I have them?" and she said "okay" so now they're decorated in my room. They give me a peace of mind, I don't have to water them or put them under the sun and they don't wither so it's really easy.
I'm going to be a high school student from April. It's not that I'm going to have a change of attitude but I'm thinking of buying a new pencil case, notebooks, glue and a stapler. Huh? Am I an elementary schooler? Leave me alone (laughs). Oh, and loafers for going to school too. Maa, also on the inside, I kind of think that I have to be an adult (laughs). When I deliberately talked to my dad recently after a long time, he pressured me with his wish saying "you're going to study hard in high school and graduate!" so firstly I plan on doing my best in my studies (laughs).
