The sky came crashing down, cloud by cloud and star after star.
He ran, to flee, but where to?
His friends had heard the warning cries and urged him to follow,
But it was too late.
As existence itself swallowed it's own walls and lowered itself upon him,
he wept- laying alone on the ground, thinking that the end had surely come.
It was then that a window opened above his head, somewhere in the firmament.
"I'm still here, young one," a small, yet familiar voice called out.
"I've always been here, and I've been waiting. will you take my hand?"
Was this voice real? Or had he imagined her as simple solace for the inevitable end?
Could he enter that world? To do so would be another chapter all together...

goregous picture. love it. and I think that that is a wonderful dream. If you can help one person, no matter how you did it. Either by helping them yourself or helping them help themselves, I think that that is a wonderful goal. I set that same goal for myself this past Christmas and I went to work at the local outreach center...it was wonderful. I suggest that you go volunteer at your local outreach center, I think you would really enjoy it.

lindsey is great isn't she? well on her prompting i read some of your past journal entries and i love them. they convey emotion so eluquently and genuinely, and i can hear you saying all those things in my head in your bubbly voice. this is stephanie holliman by the way from choir and musicals and things like that, in case you don't remember who i am. even if you still don't that's ok too. i hope you can truly touch someone's life becuase even that simple act can have ripple effects that change humanity. i think that is everyone's dream in some way or another, the trick is finding out how.
