"As I'll ever be," she responds, not really at all calm or cool, but at least somewhat collected. The hardest part, she figures, won't be stopping herself from killing him, but making sure she doesn't do anything to permanently injure him. No scars, above everything else. She won't stoop to his level. She offers an uneasy glance to Tim; with him there, she knows she'll be feeling like she's trying to prove herself. But the stress won't get to her. As long as she keeps it simple. "Let's do this."

He gives them both a vague smile, taking Changeling's clothes and moving off quite a distance away. It's difficult to tell what he's thinking or feeling even with extra sensory advantages when he gets all focused and intent like this; all that's readily apparent is the degree of his interest.
