Faust shrugs the weight of the heavy sack off her shoulders, standing next to See-More, out in front of the entrance to the HIVE Five's hideout. The expression on her face was unreadable; she'd never planned to see this place again, and in fact, she'd been dreading it for a long time, and now here she was, a sackful of stolen goods in her hands, ( Read more... )

"Yep," he said, hanging onto his own sackful of goodies that he had stolen along with her, and he glanced over at her curiously, wondering if she felt nervous or if she really was all right. Deciding it was better not to question her, he reached out to the door to the hideout.

Ghost 'heard' See-More and Faust's thoughts from roughly a block away. Surprised that Faust had come, but pleasantly so, he paused from the work he was doing on his computer, and headed down to the kitchen. Thankfully, his fine wine was typically left alone in favour of beer (or simply non-alcoholic beverages), so there were more than enough to go around.

He carried three wine glasses between his fingers, and the bottle in his other hand.

He couldn't resist surprising them just a little bit, so he decided to let himself and the wine glasses and bottle all go invisible for the time being. Patiently, he waited for them to come inside.

Faust didn't waste any time, brushing past See-More as the door opened, slinging the sack back over her shoulder and sticking her free hand back in her jacket pocket. She took in the hideout, pausing a moment to savor the discomfort that came from her unfamiliarity with the surroundings. It was similar to the old place they'd had before she split, but still, it was a different place, and it was only fitting she'd be a different person when she entered it.

She slid the sack off her shoulder and onto the central table, leaving the goods still inside, as though the actual contents were an afterthought to the simple act of stealing them in the first place. "Hey, do we have anything to drink around here?" she says to See-More while she looks around, still trying to get used to the conflicting sensations of familiarity and difference she was feeling now that she was in the hideout.

"Funny you should ask," said Ghost, remaining invisible for a few more seconds before finally reappearing with the wine and the glasses. "I was thinking we might have a drink to celebrate your return."

Billy hadn't been around - or that's how it seemed. Mostly, he kept to himself, and away from others. He'd been getting back to 'I'm my own best friend', what with not having Wicked around and other such things.

Still, hearing noise that someone's back, Billy came out from whatever hiding hole he'd been in, to go towards where the noise was coming from.

After giving See-More a glass of wine, Ghost stepped over to Billy. He passed him one of the glasses, then filled it.

"I thought this time, we might dip into my alcohol supply to celebrate," he said, pouring himself a glass finally, now that his hand was free of the other two he'd originally picked up for Faust and See-More.

"Huh? Celebrate what? Who's this?" Billy said, a little perplexed that a blonde woman was hanging around here.

"Remember when Jinx didn't want anyone she knew to find her? It was because of her drastic changes," said Ghost. He decided not to bother mentioning that she'd lost her powers for a time before gaining new ones - that, in his opinion, was her choice to share or not.

"I forgot that I'm the only one who's actually seen her in person since she left."
