The Orb of Darkness ((Locked to the Dragons, Aqualad, Terra, Hot Spot, Lightning, and Slizzath))

Aqualad had arrived at the section of the city that had once been a condemned district, and had since become a sort of Forbidden Zone since the events almost over a year prior. He had not been involved in the first encounter with Trigon, but he knew well enough about its legacy ( Read more... )

Of course, Terra, being the leader of the Titans and all, thought it would be a good idea to show up early, or at least on time. So imagine her surprise when she saw Aqualad already there. After a quick wave, she jogged a little to catch up and get within conversation distance. "Hey, Aqualad."

"Terra," he said, giving her a wave. "I'm glad I caught you before any of the others showed up. I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Oh?" She tilted her head a little. This probably wasn't going to end well, but she could just be pessimistic about conversations where Aqualad had to "talk to her about something". "What's up?"

"About this whole thing," he said. "I realized I hadn't told you yet, but I found out Lightning and Hot Spot have been drawn into this. I told Hot Spot it'd be okay to go along with it, and it makes sense since they have elemental powers, but... I don't know. It didn't happen till after I saw them, but I'm getting a bit uneasy, you know?"

Aristotle arrived, with the Dragons and Slizzath with him. He had, against his better judgement, not ordered any Dragon Guard to come with them into the ruin, but he had made sure that there would be a number of them assembled outside after they went in - a fact he'd neglected to mention to the Titans when making arrangements.

"Young Terra! Aqualad! How good it is to see you again! I trust you have been well?"

*Gust flew down out of the clouds, landing gracefully in a small whoosh of air. She remained floating a few inches off the ground, as usual, causing some of the dust and random small bits of debris to circle lazily as they got caught up in the undercurrents of air supporting her.* Greetings Aristotle, everyone. *She smiled and waved lightly. What, her, be creeped out by this place? Hardly. This was going to be an adventure, a chance to really use her powers! She hoped, at least.*

Ophelia beamed when she saw the others. The more the merrier. Hopefully it would make this outing a bit less... creepy. Although from what she had heard, she didn't count on it. "Hey guys," she greeted them, and smiled a bit, trying not to look around.

Lightning wasn't quite aware that there was such a place underneath the old building, and he certainly didn't like the look of it when they were inside. Which he didn't hesitate to state the obvious, until they finally got the main area to meet with the others with Aristotle and the other Dragons. "Hey," he greeted with a wave of his hand to the others.

A rythmnic was in the air, giving away the Floramancer's approach. He stopped in mid-step, and leaned on his staff. "I'm here now."
