Man, it pains me to see Dennis and Ethelyn like this. All this pain and analysis on relationships just makes ME think about stuff. So here are my two cents - well, more like self reflection

If I was thinking logically and down to earth like I normally would....I would be in the same boat. But the fact that i'm so pissed off all the time right now doesnt help at all hahaha.
Oh and uhh, you arn't heartless. Because what happened to you would piss me off in your fashion.
And you are right, relationships that are too seriouse this early in our lives is pointless but they follow a different path. Sometime between the age of 20-25 people realize that relationships arn't all about love, but the fact that financial status, job placement, working class levels, education, smarts, and loyalty are HUGE factors in relationships.
I'm not sure if I completely agree, because I'm pretty sure I'm not looking for a guy who's going to make a lot of money and have a college education. I don't want to be ass poor with a stupid man for the rest of my life, don't get me wrong. But I do think that relationships are about love. Are you really going to be with someone that don't love just because they're financially well off? Because that's not a real relationship.
OF COURSE NOT!! love is and SHOULD be the most important aspect in a relationship. All im saying is that some people HAVE to compromise for their own well being. I am glad your are idealistic in what a relationships should be.
danny, i am not going to tell you if you did or did not love bri. for all i know, you did. love is your term, i learned this from miranda. i KNOW that i love jeremy. i don't care what anyone else thinks. you are so not heartless. you are one of the most caring people that i know danny. maybe you just have more experiences to have ya know? maybe you still have some growing to do for some reason, even though you are already pretty mature. love will be different for every girl that you encounter and care about and maybe you just haven't found that certain girl yet ya know

yeah, i totally understand what your saying ethelyn. What happened between bri and i was a lot different than other relationships, and i can see how your situation is so frustrating.
I am sure that i have growing to do, but i am also very confident that i am one of those really rare cases that doesnt need a significant other in my life. Its weird i know, ESPECIALLY for my age, lol. Please you guys, dont get me wrong, I LIKE girls and WANT a girlfriend soon, and trust me, i will. But its gonna take one EXCEPTIONAL girl to make me fall head over heels in love. Its rather confusing, its like, i can meet a girl and REALLY care for her and make her feel loved and cherished and all that, but at the same time, i am able to let go if need be, thats why i feel careless sometimes. But i know i shouldn't, because i am NOT careless, i still care deeply for Bri and i always will. She will ALWAYS have a place in my heart, even despite what she put me through. (I can't JUST say that because i put her through some hell too, Dennis, you know what im talking about) AAAnnyways, just because i dont see her and perhaps never will doesnt make me sad or happy, ya know? Thats just life.
You're allowed to feel that way, it just means that you don't "fall" easily, which is good because that means you aren't going to get hurt, and when you find 'the one' it's going to be incredibly special.
of course you can comment jeremy! I also can understand what you feel to some extent. Everyone is different. i mean, just wait till i'm up at Western, I'll be commenting on how i meet this AMAZING girl and it may get serious and i may think about staying with her... Ultimatley i just hope that everyone gets their priorities straight. And different people have different priorities. Dennis and I have been such good friends because we see eye to eye on so much in life, we always get along. But this isnt to say that everyone will think like we do, and i respect how you feel.

Ultimatley i just hope that everyone gets their priorities straight. And different people have different priorities. Dennis and I have been such good friends because we see eye to eye on so much in life, we always get along. But this isnt to say that everyone will think like we do, and i respect how you feel.
