Who knows. Its sick knowing that the average IQ is only 100 though, considering having an IQ of 100 leaves you rather stupid.

I would read, but my attention span is just terrible when it comes to reading. But once in a while I do get my mind into a motion to read, and it is nice I must admit. I never read 1984 though... but I did read A Clockwork Orange, which is an excellent book by the way. And if 100 is the average, then I'm smarter than I thought I was.

It's okay if you dont have teh attention span for it, just dont be like that kid and ask stupid questions.

See, not everyone reads. Alot of people don't have the attention span for it. Also, your IQ isnt exactly a choice, nor does it actually decide whos smarter. Just because that person has different interests than you is no reason to call him retarded. OOh you read, so inadvertently you ARENT retarded? One could probably assume you where retarded based on your interests, but I bet they wouldnt write about it in their livejournal.

I mean, I have an IQ of 146, but I get worse grades than several people in my school who have IQs of 110 or less. Its all about what you do with it. Sure, I read alot. Those kids don't read and they are going to get much higher paid jobs than me. Interesting.

Also I can't imagine wanting to read 1984 more than twice in the span of a year. Its long, often overly drawn out at times, and not pleasant.

The reason I called him retarded was because he asked, "Who reads?" When I was reading right in front of him.. not because he doesn't read. Sheesh.
