Okay, so will a monologue from "Ideal Husband" (1895) do for my "not contemporary" monologue for ASU???

for anyone who has seen it at state or whatev, im doing my "Six Random Women and the voice of a Man" for my contemporary, but i don't know if Ideal husband could be considered too "not shakespeare," if that makes any sense...what do you think!

Yes, that counts as "non contemporary." Just be careful with accents. Unless you can do it perfectly, don't do it.

okay great! thanks, my dad and i liked that one so i think im going with that. I do a pretty decent southern accent in my contemporary one and its a kind of monologue that requires it bc i end up droping it. (long story)
but anyway thats a good sugestion, it hink that im not going to do the accent on ideal husband, because i want them to hear my normal voice and i can do a british accent, fine but i know its kinda frowned upon, yes?
is taht what i should do
ooo my monologue goddess?!
