Sorry for not posting for the LONGEST time but I've been having a dry spell :(
Jun didn't think that he would ever fall in love at first sight. It was just impossible. He would like to have experienced it but now that he was married it would never happen. Of course, he loves his wife more than anything but their love took alot of effort and work. It wasn't all bad, it took patience but the more he learned about his girlfriend-turned-wife, he fell more and more in love, to the point that he couldn't believe that he ever lived without her. Jun was just a person that would never fall in love that easily.
Never say never.
It happened in an instant. There he was standing there and all he could do was stare at the beauty in front if him when she appeared. She was perfect. Everything about her gripped at his very soul. An instinct inside him told him that he needed to touch her, to hold her close to him - to love her with very fiber of his being. Jun got his wish. He held her warm body close to him. No words could describe what he was feeling but he made a vow to all the dieties in the world that no matter what, he will protect this girl and that he would do anything for her.
She is precious to him.
He rained light kisses on her soft skin and caressed her smooth cheeks. Eveyrthing about her enchanted him and he has already fallen ridiculously in love with her. He couldn't wait to take her home...
"MATSUMOTO JUN!" His wife called to him. Jun's eyes snapped to his wife.
"Shh!! Not so loud Mao. You'll wake her!" Jun retorted in a whisper. He looked back down to check if their newborn baby was still sleeping in his arms. He fell in love with the baby all over again.
In truth, Mao didn't want to disturb the serene image of her husband and child but the nurse had told her to feed the baby at set intervals. Mao dutily informed her husband what the nurse had told her. The most interesting display of emotions played on Jun's face. First irritation tugged at his features at the idea of having to give up his child (even if it is to his wife). Then, hesitation becasue he did not want to deprive his baby of anything. Lastly, utter defeat as he realized that he is unable to provide one of the most basic necessities for her at this stage in her life. He walked slowly and carfeully to Mao's bedside and sat down.
"You win this round Matsumoto Mao." He said. Mao giggled as she (finally) got baby back.
"Don't worry honey." Mao reassured her husband as she cuddled her little girl. "When we are settled at home you can have all the baby duties - including changing the diapers." She grinned.Jun was prepared to be the best father that he could be for his child.

Author's note: I still don't like what I did with this fic but it was bothering me. I had a dream that I read on LSS about Mao and Jun having a 5 year old girl but they weren't married o__oa . Plus, when I read that Jun said that he didn't think he would ever fall in love at first sight in my head I thought 'just you wait and see Jun. You'll fall in love with your child as soon as you see him/her."
