So it's been pretty crazy busy at work lately... It's actually a slow month, but there were some last-minute pop-ups things.  I can't believe it's been 4 weeks since Elaine's wedding, and 2 weeks since our friends had their first baby, Caleb.  Time just slips by.

 We went to Charleston this past weekend as a little get-away.  Last Wednesday we celebrated our 2-year anniversary.  :)  So we took a little mini vacation this past weekend.  It was my first time to Charleston and it was nice.  It's a pretty small city but there's just so much history and lots of old beautiful houses there.  We didn't do too much ( Read more... )

My sister left to go to NYC today for a job interview.  She has just not had good luck with any jobs here.  Then all of a sudden, she got a bunch of interviews lined up up North.  She's got two in NY, and one in Boston.  I hope she gets the one she really wants, which is a research job at NYU.  This is a pretty sudden development.  She literally  ( Read more... )

This week went by kind of fast, but it was a long week.  This morning on the way to work, 3 traffic lights were out.  So I got stuck in that traffic for about 20 minutes.  Made me late to work.  :(  Garbage people picked up the trash this morning and dumped the trash can in the middle of my drive way, or at least in the middle of my back up path.  ( Read more... )

 I had my gym bag in my car for 2 weeks, and yseterday I finally made it to the gym.  I went the kickboxing cardio class yesterday.  I've done another kickboxing or taebo class before, and I remember it kicked my ass.  I couldn't keep up for the whole class.  But I thought the one I went to yesterday wasn't that bad.  I think the Taebo advanced ( Read more... )
