I almost quit my Bloomy's job a couple nights ago.  I went to work Tuesday night and it was really slow all night.  I didn't even have a single customer until about 8:30.  At 8:55 a guy came and said he needed to have 4 things gift wrapped, and 1 of them was an extra large box.  I told him very politely and apologetically that we were closing in 5 ( Read more... )

I noticed a bump in my hand a couple of months ago.  It was on my palm, right at the base of the ring finger.  I didn't really think anything of it, but it got slightly larger recently, so I finally went to go see the doctor on Friday about it.  It turns out to be a cyst, completely harmless.  But it's annoying to have a bump on my palm.  The ( Read more... )

My boss brought me along to this luncheon today and it was amazing!  It was done by a caterer, and apparently they do this once a year to schmooze some of the people they work with in the business.  Most of the people there were women.  There were only about 40 people there.  So the seating was set up around this long rectangle.  We were seated ( Read more... )
