I pretty much thought that my daughter would be an only child.  I wanted to lavish all of my attention and love on her, just as mom did to me.  But here I am, 4.5 years later, six months pregnant with her sister ( Read more... )

Congrats!
I've been wantin' another since Lyric was born practicly.Took us 2yrs to get pregnant with her for no known reason so we always said that when it got close to her 1st bday we would start ttc.Well due to a long story of crap I ended up leaving him when she was about 4 months old without looking back and would NEVER have another child with him due to being a pos for a dad. I'm seeing a great guy who has a lil girl about 9.5months younger then Lyric and also wants more kids so it brings the baby fever to the service more so then ever and I can't wait for us to be where we feel comfortable enough that it's a go to ttc.

Congrats! I never had a change of mind, but I did have that gap with my two. I also made a rule that we wouldn't have any after 30, I'm 32.5 and hubs still hasn't had a vas so I fear I'm going to end up with a 15 year old, a ten year old, and pregnant :D You're in for a ride!

We have a boy (5) and a girl (4) and we thought we were completely done. I even got a breast reduction because we thought we were totally done (and nursing is important to me, so I wouldnt have gotten a reduction if I thought we would have more children). But about a year ago, baby fever struck. We both saw babies everywhere, we totally knew our family wasnt done. I had to take fertility treatments, but we are now 6.5 weeks pregnant. So we will have a 6 yr old, 5 yr old, and a newborn. We want to try to have another shortly after this one is born because we love the close age spacing between our older two and we dont want this one to feel like an only child because our other two are so much older.

I said no more after my daughter, Rosie, who was born 20 months ago, but we're considering #4 at some point.

I knew I wasn't done after Kyra who is my second child, but I thought I was done after her little brother who was born when she was 2 and a half.

We're pregnant again 2 years later, I have space in my heart and my home so why not? I grew up in a family of four kids, so it's not some huge crazy number for me, and I had friends who came from families of 8 and 9, so big families aren't that strange to me (tho my husband the only child wants way more kids than I do, lol). My other kids will be 6, 5 and 2 when this baby arrives next summer and I hope then my husband will agree to be done and get the V, but we'll see.
