We have been fortunate not to have any health problems, but I just wanted to say how fortunate you were that you caught Molly's diabetes early; my friend discovered her daughter's when the 7-year-old had to be airlifted to the hospital. :(
It's good that things are going well for you; I know there are also some special summer camp programs for kids with diabetes that both help them learn about managing their condition and have fun safely.

Wow! You have your hands full with medical. There are some great groups out there for parents of children with Juvenile Diabetes. It sounds like you have a great attitude about everything and she is in great hands. I hope she is able to avoid the dreaded DKA.

My younger sister was diagnosed with Type 1 as a 9 year old. She attended one of the aforementioned camps and loved it. As a 20-something, she got the insulin pump. She is also mama to 3 healthy girls.
Molly sounds like a model Type 1 patient. What a great kid.
