Well, it just plain sucks. Lossing my boss and 2 coworkers is really sucking. Will the company hire someone else to fill in, maybe. Maybe 1 person but I doubt 3 people. Today I should find out about my raise. Last year, we didn't get any. This year, people will either get a 0%, 3% or 5% raise. I spoke with the Vice President of the company about

I would laugh at them even if they offered you the 5% raise. You should really go online (ask Jess for the website) and find out what other companies are paying in compared to yours.

at least you're lucky to get a raise from your company. There's a contractor here that hasn't given a raise in two years, at least from what I hear. They attribute it to a lack of money in the contract, but the reality was poor management. Why they still work for that contract is beyond me. But with the job situation in RI being as bad as it is, I guess they really don't have a choice.

Oh, I got ya beat, oh Ace me boy....

Here's the skinny:

Tony's contract ended on March 1st. They extended it to the end of business today, BUT, they tied my contract in with his (meaning, if he was not renewed, I was gone too.) I found out about 2 hours ago that, yes, indeed, I do have to be at work tomorrow.

Oh, and I have not seen a raise in about 2 years either. Nor have I seen an evaluation.
