[A short teenage girl is manning a Girl Scout cookie booth on the corner of a residential street. She looks like she would rather be kicked into boiling lava than be sitting there in her jaunty little uniform. Her glare could kill a man where he stands.

But boy, those cookies look gooooooood.

Do you approach?]

[Oh hey cookies. Walking over to death glare person.]

Hi there!

[Oh so flatly:] Hi.

Buy some cookies.

What kind are they?

[Looking them over.]

Oh what do they use for money here anyway?

[Barton picks up a box and looks it over.] Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos... I have no clue what any of these are. Whatever, they taste alright.

Damned if I know. Just another one of Mayfield's mysteries. I mean, we've got a bank, who knows how that even works.

[Looking at them.]

Ah...any one then.

[Reaches into her pocket and pulls out some one dollar bills.]

Well these look like some sort of currency....

[SCORE, A WHOLE DOLLAR]

Yep, that's it. And for that? I'll give ya two.

[Ain't she just the smoothest?]

[Be treated to a smirk, Agatha. And two boxes of cookies.]

Pleasure doing business with you.

I'm a bit confused as to what you're doing.

Clearly you have treats to offer, but your glare would suggest murderous intent. If this is some sort of elaborate trap to lure me to my demise, please be so kind as to let me know before I do something foolish.

[...Is this for real

Enhoy the most unamused, flat look the girl can muster.]

Yeah, this is obviously a brilliant plan to destroy the town. Because murdering everyone here would get me so very much.

Look. The town is forcing me to do this. If I don't, I will be droned. And I really, really want to avoid that, okay?

Duly noted and received.

Though I do hope your droning is merely dependent on you acting out the part, not acting it out well. If you're actually required to sell any of these things to avoid that fate, I fear you're not doing a very good job at avoidance.

Damned if I know, but you can buy a box and save me some hassle.

...very well, I can respect that candor. And who am I to deny you your free will? If some coin will save you from that fate, I'm not so cruel a man as to deny you that.

[She waves a box of Thin Mints tauntingly, smirking.] Right you are. Ten cents saves me from creeping out my fake family. I'm sure they'd thank you.

[He happily accepts, while delivering the promised change. He pauses before popping open the box, consuming one of the notorious Thin Mints.] ...well, at least the product doesn't disappoint. These things should practically sell themselves.
