I'm thinking about trying to put together another self-published book before I leave for Japans. I'm gonna try either Kickstarter or Indiegogo since friends have had good deals with both of them, esp Molly, Holy SHIT girl! U SO POPULAR ( Read more... )

Hey, what are the chances you can tell me more about this suicide series? I can't tell you how interested I am in suicide as an idea/theme and now I'm really curious about this.

Also, as for anything new, I'd argue you should go with whatever has the potential for ongoing publication, because if it's popular, it's nice to have something you can keep doing to bring in money.

I started/did a few in the suicide series like, maybe 3 years ago? I wanted to eventually get to at least 50 different ways to kill yourself, but I am not that ambitious and can never stick with a series ( ... )

That's sad, because honestly, and this might sound fucked up -- whatever, I'm a fucked up person, I guess -- I'd be really interested in seeing more of your suicide series even if it did glorify it. Suicide absolutely interests me. I mean, I'd be lying to say that I don't pretty regularly experience suicidal ideation. I'm certainly one of the most morbid people I know when it comes to thinking about that shit; I can say that pretty confidently/comfortably because I've never attempted suicide, and I used to own a gun, so it's not like it would have been hard if I ever wanted to do it... but existentially, I'm fascinated with it, and I think it sucks that you would be steered away from exploring it in your art just because other people are sensitive to it ( ... )

I absolutely love all your comics and illustrations, so I'd love even a combination of both. Maybe even like a sketches collection. I LOVE comic-style sketchbooks ( ... )

As much as I love your inked illustrations, I think your drawings are much more impressive in comic form and a comic with some extra sketches/illustrations sounds like it will take you very far. An illustration book to follow that would be great, as then your comic fanbase will already want it and newcomers to your art can then be referred to your comic.

I'M REALLY LATE TO THIS POST BUT I would love love love to see another comic from you ♥ I'm always going to prefer reading a good story over seeing a series of loosely connected images ;) Either way, I know the art is going to be amazing~
