I don't think you're life sounds pathetic, it sounds like the kind of life most people I know have. You're working and studying, and that drains lots of energy, so it makes sense that you don't do much after that. You're not average person though, not in my eyes! :D
I can't (and don't have the right to) decide if you have a good life or not, I think only you can decide that. If you're content about it then that's great, and if there is something you want to change, then you could always strive for it. Don't feel stressed about it though. It's the journey towards the goal that matters the most ^-^.
