[ The situation you step into in the dream is rather peaceful, rather normal. It's just a regular bedroom, probably a little girl's if you judge from the amount of pink and the various dolls and glittery drawings lying around all over the place. In fact, it's Nanako's room from back home, since you might spot her sitting in her bed in pink pajamas

[This is the first truly peaceful dream Zelda has entered, and she is quite relieved. The domestic scene is comforting, even if the room is unfamiliar. At least Zelda recognizes Nanako, and she approaches when it looks like the girl is still uncomfortable about the 'monster'.]

Would you like someone to keep you company?

[ She frowns slightly for a moment, but then she seems to recognize the person from somewhere.. even if she isn't sure from where. But the woman's smile is kind and gentle, and so she nods (even if it's a little shyly.) ]

I think the monster might stay away if I'm not alone..

I think so too. [She comes to sit on the edge of the bed.] There, now the monster will not bother you.

R-really? You're really sure the monster won't come now?

[ Her eyes widen a little as her hands clutch onto her end of the blanket - perhaps hopeful for a positive answer. ]

I'm certain. [She looks confident, more than she has been in other dreams, because this is something she can understand. To reassure the girl, she places her hands together and calls upon her power. A globe of light blossoms in her palms, soft as to not be too disturbing in a room kept dark for sleeping.]

Just in case, you can use this to keep safe.

[ Oh, now that's more surprising than anything she has seen so far, and she looks simply amazed at how the woman conjures up the globe of light. ]

... Wow.. T-that was magic, wasn't it..? It's so pretty..!

[She nods, holding it out so that the girl can take it into her hands, if she wishes.]

As long as you have light, nothing in the darkness can harm you.

[ She does take it - very gently and carefully though, as if she might accidentally drop it and it might disappear. She stares at it in her hands for a few moments before looking at the woman. ]

Nothing at all, huh..? [ She smiles a little. ] I think that sounds very nice..

[She smiles back, keeping an eye on the light to make sure the glow stays steady.]

Do you think you'll be able to fall asleep now?

I think so.. This.. um, glowy thing will keep the monster away, right?

... [ She giggles slightly. ] It's almost like a nightlight!

[thehandofwisdom]

[She nods.] Yes, they are quite good for that. I always used to keep one with me at night when I was younger.

And now I can keep this one..? For as long as it takes for the scary monster to stay away forever?

Of course. It is yours now.
