IL_Apartment year 107-108 - Unfulfilled LTW

Jul 24, 2017 17:05

This is a new lot. Previously Ingela and Matilda were in Uni and somewhat reluctantly fell in love with each other. Ingela graduated SCL in Drama and Matilda had SCL in Art. Before they left Uni they got engaged on the 1st of September 106.

That sounds like a glitch, to be honest. I would probably have fixed it with SimPE or a cheat if I could find one. When the game cheats first, cheat back! As long as the game recognizes it as a marriage, it should count toward your score.

You might be right, but my cheating skills only stretch as far as MoveObjects on :)

I agree with itlandm_sims. I'd likely count his LTW as finished even if the game is being stubborn about it. Congrats to the happy couple BTW, and grats on finishing another round :)

Thanks! It starts to feel as it drags on... :/
I'm tempted to try to break up Vidar and Jenny and remarry Vidar, either to Jenny again or someone else, that could be fun and add some drama :)

Quite annoying with the partnership not counting as a marriage - I've had to experience that disappointment too, so sure of green little numbers that never showed. If the game lets it be possible for the sims to love whom they want - why not let it be truly equal? Grumble, grumble ...

Your updats always make me miss playing The Sims 2 and I really must install it again, now when I've upgraded my SSD-disk to double size. It takes 40 minutes to load though, due to all my CC (compared to about 5 for The Sims 3) - and that flashing purple problem that came with the new computer a couple of years ago, really had me on edge while playing. It destroyed a lot of the fun.

Well, until recently there have been a difference in Swedish laws too, so I guess it's somewhat realistic
Hop you can get your sims2 installation sorted out. Do you blog sims3 stories somewhere?

I haven't posted anything for a long while now. The RL stuff (same as before) is reaching chritical mass now (I've said that before, but it still went on and on and on) and I have now idea how it will end. Hopefully not with me getting a heart attack (thank god I've quit smoking). You probably wouldn't believe a word if I told you, but I've been fighting for my existence. And I'm bloody furious. Extra furious today actually.

Sorry, not simsrelated at all and TMI - but that's why I haven't been posting anything. I still have the LJ blog, but I created a dreamwidht account in May due to the shift in values her on LJ. As you've probably noticed, LQBT-questions are really important to me. I really want to see you finish your challenge though, so I will keep on Reading. :)

Awww....they don't count as a marriage? I guess the "wording" is important in the game coding. Who knows. I would find a way to cheat it too, that just seems silly. Maybe it's a glitch of some kind, I haven't ever checked anything like that before. A pretty wedding through, Matilda looked very beautiful in her dress. Ingela is a little more studious looking. :)

I guess we can imagine who is the "man" in this couple :)
